Both sides feature different patterns. This is a traditional, high-quality obi. The family crest is rare. This item is brand new. Paulownia, Bamboo, Phoenix Crest, 10th Generation Family Crest, Jin'emon Full-length Maru Obi, Brand New, Unused, Pure Silk Purchased last year from a long-established kimono shop. Custom-made for 2025. This masterpiece took several months from order to delivery. Unused. Each side has a different pattern: a phoenix pattern and a family crest pattern. Both sides are luxurious, and this obi can dramatically enhance the elegance of plain or simple kimonos. Maru obi are often perceived as heavy, but this one has been made with a thin, supple, high-quality lining, making it very light and easy to wear. Even older individuals should find it easy to tie. Nishijin-ori (Nishijin woven silk) Approximately 463 cm (182 inches) With gold thread, silver thread, white, and purple, it is a dazzling and formal obi, representing the pinnacle of silk weaving and craftsmanship. It is a truly beautiful obi. It utilizes the highest level of traditional techniques, and the fabric is exceptionally supple. Production numbers are small, making it rare and more expensive than other fukuro obi, costing around 500,000 yen. A dignified obi makes one pay more attention to their appearance than usual. This light and supple obi provides peace of mind during dressing, as you don't need to worry about it coming undone, and it will help preserve your precious obi in good condition for long-term use. I purchased this through my relationship with the kimono shop, and it has been delivered in its brand-new condition, without even being tried on. Please enjoy a beautiful and picturesque ensemble, from iromuji (plain colored kimono) to tsukesage, houmongi, and tomesode. *Depending on the lighting, it shimmers or appears subdued, changing its beautiful expression. Furthermore, the gradation is exceptionally beautiful. Please note that there may be some slight variations in how the photos appear. The purple parts are a lovely pale purple to the naked eye, but unfortunately, it's difficult to capture that nuance on screen. We appreciate your understanding. We hope this information is helpful.
