I am listing a well-maintained item from my collection. This is a Yamame (cherry salmon) fishing rod made by Sayo Yoshi. It has not been stored away in a warehouse or closet. I have carefully used and stored it while performing maintenance. It is a high-quality Japanese rod. ✳️ Shipping costs are high, so no price reductions. First come, first served. Rod Condition There are some minor superficial scratches from storage, but no noticeable scratches or cracks. The bamboo has developed a beautiful patina. There are no severe bends or set in the rod. Rod Action This is a medium-hard, slightly tip-heavy rod. The upper half of the rod feels soft. The tip is soft, allowing for natural bites without startling the fish. Joint Condition Generally good. The ferrules are in sturdy condition with no cracks. (The black insertion part fits in almost completely. There is some slight creaking.) Length: 5.3m Number of sections: 8 (2 sections when stored) Stored length: 79cm (without cap) Weight: Approx. 275g ✳️ Please examine the rod's condition closely by zooming in on the images. I have many other items listed. I can also accommodate combined shipping. This item is also listed on other sites, so it may be removed or canceled.
