Petio Brown Sugar Jelly, 50 pieces x 4 bags, Total 200 pieces, Bulk Lot New, unused item. Expiration date: March 2028. Free nationwide shipping. Shipping will be via Yamato. ■ Contains Brown Sugar + Trehalose Petio Petio Brown Sugar Jelly A jelly containing brown sugar that rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles love. Contains brown sugar, which is rich in beneficial components for their bodies, and trehalose, an energy source. Ideal for egg-laying and long-term rearing of rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles. Petio (Petio) Brown Sugar Jelly for Insects, 50 pieces ■ Tips for Successful Rearing ● Be careful not to let the substrate dry out. ● Keep them in a cool place away from direct sunlight. ● Rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles fight, so keep them in separate containers. ● Water-rich fruits like watermelon can rot easily and weaken their bodies. ● If adult beetles have mites, remove them with an old toothbrush or similar tool. ● Do not use sawdust from sawmills. ● Larvae of rhinoceros beetles eat about 3L of substrate to grow into adults. Please purchase substrate during the summer. Petio (Petio) Brown Sugar Jelly for Insects, 50 pieces ■ How to Choose Insect Jelly Regarding the capacity of insect jelly, most products are around 16g. This amount is consumed in one day by large stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles, but it will last for several days for smaller individuals. There are mainly two types of containers: wide-mouth cups and regular types, which are similar in shape to jelly for human consumption. For large adult insects, wide-mouth types seem to be easier to eat. If it's difficult to place the container in the breeding case environment, you can transfer the contents to a feeding dish. Flavors commonly found are brown sugar and fruit. There are also high-protein options, and some breeders give high-protein jelly to female insects during the egg-laying season. However, unless there are specific circumstances like the egg-laying season, there's no need to be particular about it. In any case, insects tend to prefer sweet nectar, so most jellies are made from syrup derived from sugars like trehalose. Petio Petio Brown Sugar Jelly is rich in components that rhinoceros beetles and stag beetles love, making it perfect for egg-laying and long-term rearing. Click here for the manufacturer's site
