Donated November 1950 This is a plane approximately 75 years old. It is unlikely you will ever find another large plane by Ishido Teruhide from this era. The plane body is made by Kichiyoshi, but there are no stamps or markings. In recent years, it has become difficult to obtain good quality oak wood like in the past, and the crafting of large plane bodies has become very rare. It has been used only for test shavings and is in excellent, beautiful condition. The plane body has been coated with handle oil for thorough protection. The winning bidder will receive a box made of cypress, paulownia, or similar wood. Please consider this as a bonus. Plane body: Total length approx. 333 mm Plane body width: approx. 160 mm Plane body thickness: approx. 36 mm Plane blade: Total length approx. 105 mm Blade width: approx. 110 mm Please allow for measurement errors. As this is a long-term storage item, there may be some minor rust, dirt, small scratches, or scuffs, but the overall condition is very good. Additionally, please understand that the packaging materials may include recycled cardboard and tape removal marks before bidding. If you wish to specify a delivery time, please inform us of your preferred time in the transaction details after winning the auction. If no time is specified, we will ship with no time specified by default. As this is a private listing, please understand that we cannot issue receipts or warranty cards. While some points in the images may be unclear, please examine them carefully. No cancellations, no claims, and no returns after bidding. Thank you. Click here for the manufacturer's site
