This is a pre-owned men's haori (a traditional Japanese jacket) hand-sewn from Oshima Tsumugi silk. It features a 100-kikko (tortoiseshell) pattern, which has been said to bring good fortune in six directions. While it may appear plain from a distance, it is a very popular design. (Please refer to the photos.) How about this classic haori, a symbol of longevity and eternal prosperity, which never goes out of style? ・This item was requested by instructors of martial arts such as Kendo and Iaido, who wanted something to wear over their dogi (uniform) and hakama (pleated skirt). We proposed Oshima Tsumugi, Yuki Tsumugi, Hige Tsumugi, and other materials. ・We have received requests for haori and nagagi (kimono) to be sold separately, and for guidance on how to choose the right size. (Please refer to the haori's mitake (length) and yuki (sleeve length) for product details, and the recommended height for the product name.) [Recommended Height] 165-170cm [Material] Oshima Tsumugi, Navy Outer fabric: 100% Pure Silk [Haori Size] Hand-sewn Length (Mitake): 81cm (from shoulder) Sleeve length (Yuki): 67cm Sleeve width (Sodetake): 47cm Width of sleeve (Sodahaba): 33cm Front width (Maekake): 27.5cm Back width (Ushirokake): 32cm Sleeve adjustment: Approx. 6.5cm on the sleeve side, Approx. 4.5cm on the body side. [Condition] No particularly noticeable stains or dirt, no major damage, in good condition. As this is a pre-owned item, there may be some minor scuffs, fading, slight soiling, or storage odors. We have tried to photograph any areas of concern. We welcome bids from those who understand pre-owned kimonos. Please note that we lack the knowledge regarding whether the kimono can be let out in length or sleeve length, so please understand this limitation. ・If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask. ・Please carefully review the photos and purchase only after you understand and agree to the condition of the item. [Shipping Included (Seller Pays)] We will primarily ship via Yamato Transport from Aichi Prefecture. Depending on the size and destination, the shipping method may be changed to Click Post or Raku Raku Mercari Bin. Please understand this in advance. Click here for the manufacturer's site
