Work Life Vest (Also usable as a small vessel life vest) NS-Ukunda A90 Type, XL Size, Set of 2 Nippon Funagu Co., Ltd. - Color: Yellow - Size: XL - Purpose: Life-saving equipment My husband used these life vests while working on a boat. He purchased about 5 when his fishing boat was updated, but these 2 are unused. He is selling them as they are no longer needed. From the Nippon Funagu Co., Ltd. website: Work life vests are for personnel engaged in fishing operations on vessels over 20 tons, or for work on board, as stipulated by the Ship's Crew Labor Safety and Health Regulations. They can also be used for work near water, such as harbor civil engineering work. Furthermore, all of our work life vests are dual-purpose models that can also be used as life vests for small vessels, belonging to Type A, making them suitable for installation on small vessels in all navigation areas. While there is an expiration period of 3 years, The expiration period for the NS-Ukunda A80/A90 Type has been removed, and the Expiration Date: 3 Years marking on the nameplate was discontinued for products manufactured from April 2019 onwards. Products already in use in the market will have the expiration date indicated on the nameplate, but these products are also subject to this change, meaning products exceeding 3 years can continue to be used. However, it is essential that the life-saving performance of the applicable products is maintained. This policy also applies to the older models NS-Ukunda A8/A9 Type (see photo 8, red text).
