【Excellent Condition】【High-End Model】Rigoutat CLASSIQUE, Tuned This is a semi-automatic, top-of-the-line model, the Traditionnel (Classique), from Rigoutat, a French manufacturer considered one of the three major oboe makers. The company is now also known for its entry-level models like the Delfine and Loree. Reference: Current list price ¥1,562,000 According to a specialist double-reed repair shop, this particular instrument is their highest-end model from that era. The grenadilla wood used at the time is said to be incredibly rare and of exceptional quality, no longer obtainable today, producing a soft and gentle tone. Some may find its value to exceed that of current new models. It features a complex intonation correction mechanism, which manufacturers have ceased to produce due to high costs. This, along with the comprehensive keywork characteristic of high-end models and the soft, gentle tone from the fine wood, are its defining features. Unlike Marigaux or Yamaha, Rigoutat is particularly renowned for its key mechanisms, earning it the nickname functional Rigoutat. The key mechanism is designed for long-term stability and reliable use. [Included Accessories] Main instrument Rigoutat case Reed case Cork grease Reeds Recommended for those considering high-end oboes such as Yamaha custom models, Marigaux 901, or Loree C. For this listing, the instrument has undergone a full adjustment, pad replacement, joint cork replacement, and other repairs at a specialized double-reed workshop. It's rare to find an oboe tuned to modern pitch and ready to play. We hope this instrument, rich in history and character, finds a new owner who will cherish it.
